Artist Statement
Through research, experimentation, dedication and skill, my creation of art is a self-reflective process which creates a physical manifestation of my heart and emotions. Every series revolves around a personal narrative influenced by reflections of childhood, stories and fairy tales, translated meanings of nature and my own sense of humor. My technical aesthetics are derived from fascinations with the Gothic, Baroque and Romanticism art periods with influence from Lowbrow, Pop Surrealism. My mission is to make physical my varied emotions and to fall in love with every manifestation and interpretation of the reality I experience.
